Limited Edition 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 will be launched in Germany by Geiger Cars

A limited run of the 2011 Dodge Challenger ST8 392 Inaugural Edition would be launched by Geiger Car in the German market. The total number of units of this model to be built would be 1,492 and its not yet known how many of these will be earmarked for sale in the German market. Starting price of the car has been set at €55,000, which as per current exchange rates comes to US$77,800. This car depicts Geiger Cars affinity for the Detroit muscle.

For power the latest model of the Challenger SRT8 392 comes equipped with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that is good enough for a total power output of 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. For transmission there is the option of either the five speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick or an available Tremec TR-6060 six speed manual gearbox. Top speed of the car fitted with the most powerful version of the Challenger is 282 kmph or 175 mph, with acceleration factor or 4 seconds for the 0 to 100 kmph or 62 mph rush. It would also be able to do the quarter mile in 12 seconds or near about. These figures have been announced by Dodge themselves.

Along with the new engine fit the car has also been provided with a makeup to both its interiors and exteriors. For externals there is the 20 inch wheel along with Mopar quad exhaust tips and aero parts. For interior the car has been done up in a two-tone leather work. Buyers have the option of going for either Deep Water Blue with Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with Viper Blue stripes as the color scheme.
