General Motors Recalls more than 1 Million Pickup Trucks

General Motors is willingly recalling 1,037,982 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models due to a potential seatbelt safety concern.

The pickups impacted are 2014-15 models and the possible fault, which appeared through warranty data, has not been a cause of injury, mishap or fatality.

A flexible steel cable television that repairs the seat belt to the vehicle can fatigue and separate and in time and as a result begin to bend under the tension of owners entering and out of the pickup.
