General Motors will start building the new Chevrolet Silverado E electric pickup by early 2023, Executive Vice President Doug Parks said at an investor conference on Thursday.

Parks said the electric Silverado will be followed by the GMC Sierra E and ‘multiple’ electric vehicles in 2023.

The automaker plans reveal the Silverado E in early January at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Consumer Electronics Show 2022 will take place from 5 January to 8 January 2022. About 15,000 people have registered to attend the event as of yet. More than 1,900 companies are set to attend the event.
