Geneva 2010: Hamann Tycoon Evo M with 670 hp based on BMW X6 M

by Ionut Dragomir

Next week at the Geneva Show, German tuner HAMANN-Motorsport will show a new X6 M based beast called Tycoon Evo M.

Visually you either like it or hate it. The fenders have been widened by 60 mm, there are front and rear wing extensions, side skirts, front apron with four LED’s, enlarged air inlets, carbon bonnet, roof spoiler and centrally positioned double end pipes.

All this rides on lightweight 23-inch forged wheels. Tycoon Evo M is lowered by approx.. 40 millimeters compared to the stock X6 M with the HAMANN lowering kit.

Interior is upgraded with aluminum and carbon fiber accessories.

What really matters is under the hood! 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 already produces 555 hp in the X6 M. Hamann engineers have boosted the power to an impressive 670 hp at 6,000 rpm and 780 Nm torque at 1,500 – 5,650 rpm. 0-100 km/h comes in just 4.2 seconds and the top speed is 300 km/h(186 mph).
