German vehicle sales are moving towards the greatest development in about 6 years, this year. The nation’s auto market association stated on Friday, after registrations continued to grow in November.

New car sales in Europe’s biggest vehicle market increased to 276,500 automobiles last month, the VDA association stated, with eleven-month registrations arose 5 percent to 3.09 million.

Germany’s automobile market might grow 5 percent this year to nearly 3.4 million cars, the highest level given since the beginning of the decade, VDA stated, mentioning excellent financial growth, high work and beneficial funding conditions.

In May, VDA had forecasted a 3 percent boost in 2016 registrations to 3.3 million automobiles.

The Berlin-based lobby, whose members consist of significant groups Volkswagen, Daimler and BMW, anticipates no weakening in 2017 registrations.

“For the coming year we anticipate a likewise high market volume,” VDA president Matthias Wissmann stated in written remarks planned for delivery at an interview.
