Heffner Performance Unveils Their Ferrari 458 Italia Twin-Turbo: Official Pictures and Video

by Alex

Following the first images released a while ago, Twin-Turbo specialist Underground Racing has released a video showing the Ferrari 458 Italia Twin-Turbo program. Now, just a few days after this breathtaking release, Heffner Performance decided to keep the competition at the highest level, revealing a similar package, which on pump gas generates 820 HP / 700 whp. Both of these kits are the tuners first crack at the 458. More powerful programs are already in the works.

While Heffner Performance Ferrari 458 Italia features a twin turbo system, testing results show a considerable increase in horsepower over stock while keeping the vehicle within reasonable parameters in regard to reliability and drivability. The numbers reveals an increase of 257 HP over stock.

Keep in mind that Ferrari 458 Italia, as standard, is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine that features direct fuel injection, which is a first for Ferrari mid-rear engine setups in its road cars. In addition comes the standard transmission, which is a Getrag dual-clutch seven-speed transmission.

Finally no details about pricing were released, but stay tuned for more details. Meanwhile you can watch the photos and the video below. Fell free to share your views in the comment section after the jump.
