The nine-year-old Nissan 370Z is holding on for another model year. For 2018, the 370Z can now be bought with a new Heritage Edition plan that includes a series of fresh visual touches to the sports coupe.
Purchasers have an option of Chicane Yellow or Magnetic Black paint when configuring their Heritage Edition Z. Yellow Zs use unique black mirror caps, black exterior graphics, and yellow interior trim, where as black ones include yellow interior trim and silver outside graphics.
Furthermore, each Heritage Edition shows up using the very same updates produced 2018 to the rest of the Z range. These consist of updated head and taillights, a revised rear fascia paint plan, smoked chrome door handles, and a brand-new clutch from EXEDY for manual 370Zs.
Power still stems from the familiar 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V-6, producing 332 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque delivered to the rear wheels through either a six-speed handbook or seven-speed automatic transmission.
Nissan has remained silent regarding the future of aging Z. There have been reports of moving the next-gen Z to a GT86/BRZ rival, and even of including the name to a high-performance crossover (a la the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross). According to Automobile Mag, it would be a new sports coupe for the Z’s 50th anniversary in 2019.
