As the coronavirus has taken a toll on a number of big businesses, including rental car company Hertz, the company is now selling a fleet of cars at a discount.
Hertz had to file for bankruptcy following a dramatic decline in rentals during the coronavirus crisis, resulting in the company to sell its fleet of vehicles at a discount.
If you are looking for a compact four-door, the company is selling the Kia Forte for an average price of $10,851, a 12.3% discount less than market value.
Hertz is also selling luxury vehicles, such as the BMW seven-series, for an average of $42,680, a discount of 13.7%. If you would like to purchase a pickup, the company is selling the Toyota Tundra for an average of $31,383, a 12.6% discount. Whereas the Chevy Trax is about $1,700 cheaper on average.
Luxury crossovers are also included in the savings, one example is Infiniti QX50 which is about $4,200 cheaper than average.
Families looking to purchase a minivan are welcome to consider Hertz’s Nissan Quest. The average sale price is $13,874, a 12% discount. Costing is for model years 2017 to 2019.
