Just as a kind reminder, the South Korean automaker, Hyundai, had actually teased its upcoming Tucson/ix35 sport utility vehicle (SUV) model already. The very first teaser image of the South Korean SUV in question was teased sometime around the start of this month itself. However, the company has now decided to release yet another teaser image of the vehicle.
Speaking of the teaser images of the Tucson/ix35 from the South Korean company, the first teaser image that was officially released by Hyundai was actually nothing but a sketch design. Yet, that is not the case with the teaser image that Hyundai has released this time around. Instead, the teaser image depicts the left front wheel of the vehicle, to begin with. The wheel kind of reminds us of the wheel that Hyundai uses on the Santa Fe as well. In addition to that wheel, the teaser image also depicts a small section of the front bumper of the South Korean car. Judging by the teaser image, it seems that the car is coming with either a pair of fog lamps or strips of LED daytime running lights or perhaps even both.
Hyundai is referring to its upcoming Tucson/ix35 vehicle model as ‘an athletic as well as bold presence and also a proud stance’. Customers keen on buying this new SUV model from Hyundai will be able to choose either a petrol or diesel engine. In terms of power output, it will most likely range from 116 to 184 bhp. In addition to that, it is believed that even a fuel cell version is under consideration right now.
According to the most recent reports that swirl around the automotive industry, the new Hyundai Tucson/ix35 will make its official world debut come March 3, 2015. That is exactly when this year’s Geneva Motor Show event is scheduled to kick off.
