Infiniti has recently released a new picture of their Q50 Eau Rouge concept.
Set to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the exterior of the Q50 Eau Rouge is inspired from F1 that expresses muscularity, refinement and understated performance intent. As a result, the model has been fitted with a number of carbon fiber components including a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. Other highlights of the model include a carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber mirror caps, 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels, a ventilated hood, a rear spoiler and a sports exhaust system.
Executive Design Director Alfonso Albaisa said that from their shared passion for performance with Infiniti Red Bull Racing grew a collective desire to produce a vision of what a high-performance Infiniti Q50 could look like. He further added that the design has a number of distinctive Formula One inspired touches and in particular, the sculpted front wing assembly and the rear aerodynamic packaging take their cues from the RB9 race car.
The concept will be unveiled on the 14th January but the company will be releasing new details about the model as part of a social media campaign.
