Its quite sometime now that the Lancia has been maintaining a low profile. But thanks to Fiat’s efforts, the periodic release of new versions of its cars is at least keeping us informed that the brand is still in existence.
And the newest version to grace the Lancia family is the Delta ‘Hard Black’ that was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show held in March. The Delta ‘Hard Black’ is available as of now on order in Europe.
The distinguishing feature of the Delta ‘Hard Black’ is ts shiny black roof, mirror caps with a dash of chrome and a unique matt black color finish for the body that Lancia would like to refer to as the ”. Tail pipes of the five-door hatchback is also tipped with chrome while the silver or matte black finish of the 18-inch alloy wheels enhances the overall appeal of the car.
The black theme is carried forward to the interior as well where the door panels and the seats get Alcantara and leather covers.
There are two engine options to choose for the Delta ‘Hard Black’ – a 1.8-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 200HP and is mated to a six speed automatic transmission or a 1.9-liter twin-turbo diesel that produces 190HP and 400Nm of peak torque.
