The Lexus LF A, the wonder car from Lexus motors is all set to have its own tuning program in the near future. It is being reported that Lexus North America has chosen CEC, the Los Angeles based auto tuner as their preferred choice to get their car tuned. This partnership can result in a profit for both as they are both renowned to be one of the best in their own game in the auto market. The deal with CEC is that they will first manufacture 3 unique variants of the model with modifications and up gradations according to the specifications given by the owners of the respective cars.
CEC has stated that the tuning package for the Lexus LF A will be based on to cover aesthetic improvements, i.e. the engine under the hood and hence the performance of the car will remain unaltered.
The head honcho and founder of CEC, Mr. Claus Ettensberger has stated that the engineers from Lexus Motors have done an absolutely fine job with the car and was the best possible output that the car could have received. Hence he believed that it was in the hands of the designers and not the engineers to get the car a notch higher than where it is now.
Now as we all know the performance of a car does not solely depend upon the engines of the car, it depends on many other factors such as the weight of the car, its shape and many more. Thus CEC with their aesthetic upgrades have already achieved a better performance and have extracted the best out of the car. The auto tuners from LA have got the car to produce 10 HP more than that of its predecessor hence taking the output to about 560 to 570 horsepower. They have in turn also reduced the shift time of the car by 0.15th of a second.
The three modified versions of the Lexus LFA are yet to be revealed. But the car being modified according to someone’s specifications are getting all of us excited on how well the cars will look like and how unique will they be from each other. Sherif Yassa, vice president of CEC may be praising his own company’s work by stating that these three modified LF-A models will be something that the world have never witnessed before but we can’t help but agree to that when two companies like Lexus and CEC are joining hands.
According to Yassa these three CEC Tuner Edition LFAs will turn out to be the most expensive and the rarest of all the LFA cars being manufactured all over the world. That is one boastful statement from the VP but we really hope it’s true. As for the expensive part, you always have to pay for something good, isn’t it? And here we are speaking of the best. We expect nonetheless.
