The British automaker, McLaren, has made an official announcement that confirms the company is about to launch a new car come January 29, 2015. According to reports, the new car from the British company will gain its power from an engine developed by the Japanese automaker, Honda.
For those who remember correctly, it was already reported before that the British automaker, which is based in Woking, was determined to schedule an event in which it would eventually introduce to the public for the very first time its upcoming MP4-30 vehicle model. Now, just last Friday, a spokesperson for the company had officially confirmed everything.
As the spokesperson has pointed out, the British automotive marquee in question will actually do what reports have been indicating so far on a decent number of automobile related websites out there. The company from the Great Britain is all set to officially take the veil off the McLaren-Honda MP4-30 vehicle model for the very first time ever for the public to see first hand. Unfortunately, so far, even though the launch date has been officially confirmed to be January 29, 2015, there are no words as of yet as to how the company is going to launch the model.
For your information, besides the McLaren-Honda MP4-30, the British automotive brand has also released a number of very powerful cars that are legal for street use. Some fine examples of the vehicles manufactured by the company so far include the McLaren MP4-12C, the McLaren P1 and the McLaren 12C. Unfortunately for the latter, however, production has been stopped, both for its coupe and its Spider versions. Its production has been stopped in favor of the production of the company’s new 650S model instead. However, according to the British company, there are bound to be some technology transfers between the McLaren 650S and the McLaren 12C models.
