Lykan Hypersport Goes on Sale in Dubai

by SpeedLux

Real car enthusiasts out there must have known or at least heard of the Lykan Hypersport from the W Motors. Yes, it is a very extreme exotic sports car with an extremely high performance. The vehicle is a limited production run so this means that even those with the money required to buy the car may not have the chance to actually lay their hands on this extreme sports car.

However, one black example has now gone on sale in Dubai. As it turns out, the W Motors has just completed delivery of the black example Lykan Hypersport to the Al-Ain Class Motors, a car dealership in Dubai. Needless to say, this dealership is probably one of the luckiest in the world for the company in charge of development of the sports car in question is choosing only a limited number of dealerships in the world to sell its car. Mind you, there will be no more than seven examples of the first Lykan Hypersport to arrive in Saudi Arabia. Each of these examples will come with a staggering price tag of $3.4 million.

The extreme sports car was introduced for the first time in the country back in November 2013, during the Dubai International Motor Show event. The car gets its power from the engine that is also used on the twin-turbo variant of the RUF, a 3.7L engine with six inline cylinders. Mated to a 6-speed sequential transmission, the engine is capable of bursting out 770 hp of total power output and 1,000 Nm of total torque.

Thanks to the engine configuration it bears, the W Motors Lykan Hypersport is capable of going from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour within only 2.8 seconds. As for its top speed, the vehicle has no problems at all to reach the mark of 395 km/h.
