McLaren to Launch 15 New McLarens by 2022

McLaren Automotive prepares to introduce about 15 new models and derivatives by 2022. The Woking firm’s future tasks plan, referred to as ‘Track 22,’ consists of provision for up to 50 % of those new designs to include hybrid powertrains.

That list of new vehicles does not consist of special editions, such as 2014’s 650S LM for example; the 15 cars will be brand-new models, or substantial derivatives of present automobiles. The next brand-new McLaren item planned is the 570S Spider, the open-topped variation of the 570S junior supercar.

McLaren won’t create SUV. “We do not require one,” a company representative discussed. “We can only make 5000 cars a year, we presently do not have the ability to make an SUV, and our customers aren’t requesting one. They enjoy with their Range Rovers.”
