Mercedes-Benz recently revealed the CLA 45 AMG Racing Series and CLA 250 Sports. The company revealed the same on its official Facebook account.
The CLA 45 AMG Racing Series will represent Mercedes-Benz’s offering for an entry-level customer racing team and comes with features that include a stripped-out interior cabin, several aerodynamic tweaks and there are chances of quite a few significant changes under the hood as well.
The CLA 250 Sports model is most likely a new derivative of the CLA which will follow the recipe of the A 250 Sport hatchback. The model will come fitted with a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that will be generate an output of 208 hp (155 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The power would be sent to the front wheels via a 7G-DCT dual-clutch gearbox.
Both cars will be shown to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show that would be held in the next week at Germany. We can expect more details to be out soon for both the models but will what details are available it sounds quite exciting and the car lovers would surely love to take advantage of this opportunity.
