MINI has officially released the specifications for the 2014 One and One D.
Firstly, the One comes equipped with a 1.2-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder engine that generates an output of 102 HP (75 kW) and 180 Nm (132 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the hatchback to achieve the 0100 kmph (0-62 mph) sprint in 9.9 seconds (10.2 seconds with the automatic) before being able to hit a top speed of 195 kmph (121 mph). In terms of efficiency, the model will return an average 4.6-4.9 L/100km (48-51.1 mpg US / 57.6-61.4 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions ranging from 108 to 114 g/km.
On the other hand, the One D comes fitted with a 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder diesel engine producing an output of 95 HP (70 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the model to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in 11.0 seconds and will go on to hit a top speed of 190 kmph (118 mph). The owners can expect to average 3.4-3.5 L/100km (67.2-69.1 mpg US / 80.7-83 mpg UK) and will have CO2 emissions ranging from just 89 to 92 g/km.
