Mopar is apparently a shorter form of Motor Parts, is the automobile parts and service arm of Chrysler Group. The term was first used by Chrysler in the 1920s and was introduced as a brand starting in 1937. Mopar parts are original equipment manufactured parts for Chrysler vehicles. In Canada, these were sold under the Chryco and AutoPar brands until the Mopar brand was phased into that nation’s market, starting in the late 1970s.
And now at the latest upcoming SEMA(Specialty Equipment Market Association) show, Dodge Dart will be dressed up in a Mopar prototype carbon fiber body which would help to cut down on the overall weight of the vehicle, a three piece prototype rear decklid spoiler hepls in keeping the downforce of the car, while giving it a dramatic look, silver brake calipers also attracts the viewers.
On the exterior of the Dodge Dart is the Charcoal Grey paint job, with mopar satin black finish front chin spolier, and a mopar satin black body kit below the Dodge Dart’s Fascia, the car rides on a glossy 19-inch wheels with the Mopar logo caps placed at the center. The Glossy Black theme can also be viewed on the roof and mirror covers too, also the front grille is a stand out texture, ommiting the customary grille of the Dodge Dart.
The headlights and tail lamps, have been given a smoky effect, and on the lower part of the car, we get to see that fog lamps have been swapped in place for day time running lamps, which has been borrowed fron the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, the tinted windows hide the the beautifull interiors, where one can find, dark matte finishes on the interior, and seats which are draped with Katzkin leather, all these things follow the exterior colour tones.
