by Ionut Dragomir

Venom GT CFD renderingHennessey Performance has confirmed that 1000+ hp Venom GT will make its world debut next year at the Geneva Motor Show.

In addition to previous renderings we can now show you new CFD(computational fluid dynamics) drawings.

Venom GT will be powered by a 1000+ horsepower V8, that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Weight is less than 2400 lbs and top speed is estimated at 272 mph (440 km/h). 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) is estimated to take 2.4 seconds, 0-200 mph (322 km/h) 14.3 seconds.

With carbon ceramic brakes and an adjustable rear wing(acts also as an air brake) it can stop from 200 mph (322 km/h) in just seven seconds.

New details also reveal that Venom GT is based on the stretched Lotus Exige chassis. This keeps the car as light as possible and explains why it looks so similar to the little sporty Exige.
