Honda now offers a new special edition model together with the 2011 CR-V. The North American division of Honda said that the car will still be offered in 4WD or FWD. The CR-V LX model will have as standard the following: air conditioning, keyless entry, cruise control, AM/FM/CD audio system with four speakers, tilt and telescopic steering column, power door and tailgate locks, power windows, 17-inch steel wheels and a fuel economy meter. The VR-V SE offers a 160 watt AM/FM/6 disc changer audio system with six speakers, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, rear privacy glass and alloy wheels.
The CR-V EX offers a security system, exterior temperature indicator, a one touch power moonroof, dual deck cargo shelf, a digital compass and vanity mirror lights. The CR-V EX-L gets leather seats and armrests, heated front seats, body colored side mirrors anf door handles, XM radio, auto on/off lights and an USB Audio Interface.
The CR-V is powered by a 2.4l 4 cylinder engine that puts out 180 HP and 218 NM of torque. The 2WD models have an estimated fuel economy of 21/28/24 mpg (11.2/8.4/9.8 l/100km) on the city/highway/combined respectively. The 4WD models have ratings of 21/27/23 mpg (11.2/ 8.7/10.2 l/100km).
