The new Audi A1 fitted with the 185 hp 1.4 TSI S-Line which is claimed to be the most powerful version of cars from Audi is now available for order in UK with prices starting at £20,705 which is US $32,900. This price mentioned is the on road price. The engine is a 1.4 liter supercharged and turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine. For transmission the car has a standard S tronic seven-speed twin-clutch transmission that transfers power to the front wheels.

The maker claims a 6.9 seconds acceleration factor from 0 to 62 mph or 100 kmph. Top speed of the car is 141 mph or 227 kmph and fuel efficiency can be gauged form the fact that the car gives 47.9 mpg or 39.9 mpg US which converts to 5.9 liter / 100 km.

The car is also installed with Audi’s S-Line packages, which means the car comes equipped with a sports suspension, a body kit with different bumpers, side skirts and a rear diffuser, plus 17-inch alloy wheels and part leather upholstered sports seats as part of this package.

There are also the additional features of remote central locking, air conditioning, electric front windows and mirrors, Bluetooth mobile phone preparation, Driver’s Information System and a six-speaker single CD audio system with auxiliary iPod connection in the car.
