Jaguar proclaimed the launch of its new the XF V8 for the Australian market. The announcement comes when the iconic car makers is celebrating its 75th Anniversary. Thus, Jaguar continues the series of launching special edition models to celebrate its 75th Anniversary
The newly launched model would be available for customers at car showrooms only in the fourth quarter of the year. The starting price of the XF 8 is expected to be around AUS$128,900 i.e. US$111,500 or €90,650 approximately. The on road costs are not included in this price.
The new special edition XF gasconades some of the staggeringly mild decorative and equipment upgrades over the standard 5.0 V8. The XF V8, which is the anniversary edition, would be equipped with special “75 Years” badge on centre console.
The other prominent constituents of the upgrade include a 20-inch ‘Senta’ alloy wheels, exhaust tail pipe finishers, a portable Audio Interface and. The sedan has some standard features such as eight way electric seats, keyless start, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
However, no mechanical changes have been introduced in the XF V8 75th Anniversary Edition. The premium sedan is powered by Jaguar’s naturally aspirated 5.0 Liter AJ-V8 Gen III engines that deliver about 283kW of power and 515 Nm of torque levels. The supercar is therefore, propelled from 0-100km/h in about 5.7 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
