Three New Jersey women died after their car rear-ended a tractor-trailer in Woodbridge on Friday.
Mikayla Powell, 23, and Uchechukw Chukwuma, 24, both passengers in the Nissan, died at the scene, according to police.
Martinez was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where she pronounced died.
“This is a tragic accident,” Sgt. Agosta stated.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and there are no pending arrests, police stated.
Police lack witnesses at this time in this case.
Chukwuma and Martinez were 2014 graduates of Franklin High School in Somerset, where all the three victims are from.
