Four people were killed and eight people were killed after the Rockland County border with New Jersey on the Palisades Parkway on Friday morning.
The driver of a Ford Econoline passenger cargo van with New York plates lost control and struck on the Palisades Parkway in Englewood Cliffs just before 1:30 a.m.
The van involved in the accident was coming from a warehouse and it was carrying 12 passengers.
Four people riding in the van were killed.
The eight others were hospitalized.
Identities of the victims were not released.
Palisades Interstate Parkway Police is investigating the crash.
