Even if the German tuner Edo Competition is usually focusing on models from Ferrari or Lamborghini, this time they came with semething different: the M5 Dark Edition, a 555 HP BMW M5 wagon.
Starting with the engine, the uprated V10 produces 555 PS / 542 bhp / 405 kW (serial 500 PS / 493 bhp / 368 kW) via recalibrated ECU, sports air filter, new sports catalysts and a specially designed sports exhaust system. As a result, peak torque grows from 521 to 560 Nm while the V-max is now 305 km/h, 190 mph (serial: capped at 250 km/h, 155 mph).
The new output enables the two ton edo M5 Dark Edition to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h 4.2 seconds, which means 0.5 seconds faster than the standard model (0 to 200 Km/h in less than 10 seconds) and also hit a top speed of 305 Km/h (190 mph).
This new model includes modified front and rear bumpers, four chromed exhaust pipes, a rear wing and a set of 20 inch light alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires (size 255/35 R20 at the front, and 285/30 R20 at the rear).
The interior combined carbon fiber with precious leather, making the M5 a very elegant, enjoyable and luxurious car.
The edo BMW M5 Dark Edition received a new speedometer which has been extended to 360 Km/h, while in terms of customisation, the tuner can adapt to customer’s wishes.
