Next-gen Land Rover Discovery likely to get hardcore SVX model

In 2014, Land Rover has showcased its new generation discovery called as Discovery 5 in New York motor show. After showcase it has been reported that Jaguar Land Rover special vehicle operation are increasing the possibility of designing off-road SUV version called as Discovery SVX.

The new Discovery 5 model will implement most of the functionality of SVX model off-road motor. SVX model will be launched in International market for sale only after 1year once the all new Discovery 5 is delivered. The technical and mechanical operations which are performed in Discovery off-shore condition will impress all the current generation automakers.

Managing Director of special vehicle operation, John Edward says that “most of the people in market are looking for off-road capability cars, so we are focusing to deliver such functionality product to customers”. Till now, SVO automakers are mainly focusing on limited run car such as bespoke model, Jaguar F-type.
