2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio Caught Undisguised: Spy Shots

by Ionut Dragomir

A few weeks ago we saw some spy pics with 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo and with the next-generation of Porsche 911 Turbo S. Now it’s time to see the upcoming Cabrio version for 911 Turbo.

Below we can show you the very first photos of the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio. The spy photographers from CarPix managed to take some shots with this car during hot weather testing. And of course when you are driving a soft top, you do it with the top down. Technical this will be equal as the Turbo Coupe.

Unfortunately we just have these 3 photos for now since a truck was in the way on the rest, but the spy photographers are working on more photos and we’ll be here to present you all the news.

From these latest photos we can easily see that this new model, exposed undisguised, is almost finished and keeps the same classic lines.

It’s still too early to talk about technical details, but very likely, the new model will borrow many features from the current model. The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio is all-wheel-drive and is powered by a 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer engine developing 500 hp and 516 lb. ft. of torque. Also the current model comes with a 6 speed manual transmission and a 8.4 L/100 KM gas mileage.

Stay tuned because also some photos of the 911 Coupe and Cabrio almost without cammo are comming up later.

Price: around $180,000
Specs: expect an official debut in the Summer of 2012
