After we saw last week Audi A7 Sportback TDI updated by Senner Tuning, MTM is next in line to offer its services to the diesel-powered model.
The German tuner has unveiled a new tuning package for the Audi A7 3.0 TDI Quattro, package which includes a new suspension system, new wheels and an impressive engine update (offered in two different levels).
In regular factory trim, the A7’s 3.0 liter engine delivers a total of 245 HP and a peak torque of 368 lbs-ft. The Germns from MTM, however, have found a solution to improve the engine’s total output with two different levels of updates.
The first package comes with an increased output to 285 HP and 427 lb-ft and the second sees an increase to 300 hp and 442 lbs-ft of torque. Pretty impressive, isn’t it? Well, both updates take only 90 minutes! These updates include an updated control unit, an M-Cantronic system, and a perfectly adjusted exhaust system with four 89mm tail pipes. This is a visible sign that an MTM diesel is expected rather on the fast lane than on the slow lane. The A7’s top speed has been increased to 163 mph.
Also a new suspension is currently being tested and will soon be available for active operation. MTM is offering a new set of wheels, size 20″ in combination with 20mm or 30mm wheel spacers as part of the MTM product range.
Prices:
– both systems are available for 1,392 Euros (US$2,000)
– sports exhaust system with quad tail pipes – 2,600 Euros (US$3,750)
Specs:
– prices includes fitting
