BMW will start offering a tunning kit for the X6 in North America. The performance pack will also include engine tunning. The tunning will increase the power of the engine by tinkering with the ECU. The standard V6 engine will be boosted from 300 BHP to 320 BHP. Also the V8 engine will get a special treatment: it will be boosted from 400 BHP to 440 BHP.
Both engines will be able to accelerate better after the engine tunning with about 0.2 seconds. The tunning will also include an aerodynamic kit: front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear bumper insert. The kit includes 21 inch alloy wheels with performance tires. Also, a special steering wheel will be offered.
