The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti has some impressive performance to boast of. Packed with the 5.8 liter V12 powerplant borrowed over from Scaglietti grand tourer, the 612 Scaglietti did come in with some outstanding power figures. Like with 540 hp at 7,250 rpm and 588 Nm at 5,250 rpm, it sure can’t be termed isn’t enough. But then, there are some who would always yearn for a bit more. And it is for them that the engineers at Novitec Russon have come up with a tuning package that would make the 612 ever more of a speed machine.
From what Novitec Rosso did has resulted in the power output to go up from 540 hp to 565 hp at a slightly higher 7,290 rpm while torque figures too witnessed a jump from 588 Nm to 609 Nm at a marginally higher 5,300 rpm. Tuners Novitec Rosso pulled this off by re-mapping the engine management system and putting in place a stainless-steel exhaust system that can be termed its own creation and which includes four 90 mm angle-cut tailpipes that has a characteristic sound of its own.
The boost that it got in the power figures shows in the car’s performance as the vehicle can now make it to the 100km/h run from zero in 3.9 seconds. The vehicle’s top seed has gone up to 325 km/h (202 mph) from the 315 km/h (195 mph) that the car in its standard form is able to do.
On the exterior, the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 612 Scaglietti comes shod with a unique custom-tailored tire/rim combination that makes use of three piece NF3 alloy wheels featuring a five double spoke design with outer flanges flaunting a polished finish. It has massive 19-inch wheels up front while a bigger 20 inch sized wheel does duty at the rear. Pirelli high performance tires cover all the four rims.
Apart from these, there are also new taillights as well as an interior package available that is designed to bring about a cosmetic enhancement to the car.
