Opel has plans to unveil two new special editions of the Adam namely Black Link and White Link at next month’s IAA in Frankfurt.
Opel is already introducing a 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and an LPG version for the Adam, and now the two limited editions featuring the IntelliLink infotainment system and Siri Eyes Free voice control. The models would be available in two exterior schemes, “I’ll be Black” or “Saturday White Fever” along with brushed, aluminum-like colored side mirror housings, tinted rear window and 18-inch Twister alloys.
These editions also come with a white or black lacquered roof spoiler, LED daytime running lights and taillights, while the interior cabin carries over the exterior color scheme. The aforementioned IntelliLink system features a seven-inch touchscreen color display and apps such as Tune-in, BringGo and Stitcher included.
In the Siri Eyes Free voice control module, users can use voice command to do various activities such as play songs in the iTunes library, access calendar and add appointments, make telephone calls to saved contacts, as well as listen to, write and send a text message or iMessage.
Since it is limited edition model, the production will be limited to just 2,000 units, with order books opening late this fall.
