Spotlight: Photos of Ferrari 599 Hybrid Concept leaked on the internet

The Ferrari 599 hybrid has been creating some loud buzz around the automotive world as it heads to Geneva next week. Too bad the Italian stable of supercars cant keep it under cover as the first photos of the supercar prototype came out on the web.
Aside from the good looks, we were curious what this Ferrari green car can give us particularly the green 599’s hybrid system.

The Ferrari 599 Hybrid will use a 100 horsepower electric motor that has a torque of about 110 pound feet. The engine will be linked to the back end of the transmission which is rear mounted. The battery was placed by the designers under its floor.
The hybrid 599 hybrid may come out of the assembly line faster than the Ferrari 599 that we know. The extra power was given to it to compensate for the extra 220 pounds it has to carry.

Insiders told us that the hybrid system is still under development or on its infancy stage and will still take a few years before going on production.
