Polestar has finally revealed the identity of its new hot Volvo, the V60 after couple of teases revealed by the company.
We saw Polestar’s version of the S60 in May this year and now they have returned with a similar version of its more practical V60 sibling. Talking about the power, the same would be derived from the same 2953cc inline-six gasoline engine rated at 350 HP (257 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque sent to the wheels through an automatic gearbox featuring a paddle shift system. This has become possible thanks to a new twin-scroll Borg Warner turbo, an intercooler and the tuner’s stainless full-flow exhaust.
As a result of this setup, the high-performance wagon will be able to accelerate to 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in just 4.9 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 kmph) would take 17.7 seconds. The model will come with electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 kmph).
The braking is provided by six-piston calipers with 371x32mm floating and ventilated Brembo front discs and 302x22mm ventilated rear discs. The vehicle also comes fitted with Polestar’s 20-inch ET53 alloy wheels well wrapped in 245/35 R20 tires.
