Porsche 911 GT3 Cup gets priced

Porsche has announced its new entrant into the world automobile market. Called the Porsche 911 GT3 cup, it is dubbed the most successful race car ever.

The model is coming with carbon fiber canards, with new front bumper, an evolutionary design rear wing, a front splitter, a center mounted dual exhaust system as well as fresh set of racing wheels.

The cabin of the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is getting a flat bottom steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a new racing seat, an improved roll cage and a “rescue hatch”

The motorsport version of the popular 911 GT3, powered by a 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder engine, which is now giving a total output of 460 HP (338 kW), 10 HP more than its predecessor. Maximum power is obtained at 7,500 rpm. The new six-speed Porsche Motorsport transmission is operated by paddle shift, a first in a Porsche brand trophy racecar.

The car features a new safety cage and a race seat that is distinctively shaped for better protection of the head and shoulders.

Price for this model starts at $2,34,056.
