Porsche Boxster S Red 7 Edition announced for the Netherlands

Porsche recently made an announcement that the company would be offering a limited edition Boxster S in the Netherlands.

Also called as Red 7, the model features a Guards Red exterior paint with matte platinum accents, large 20 inch alloy wheels, a lowered sports suspension and a sports exhaust system.

The two-tone theme of the model carries over to the cabin as the black leather sports seats are contrasted by red accents on the dashboard, steering wheel and center console. Other highlights of the car include illuminated door sill plates, a Bose audio system, a Porsche Communication Management system and the Sport Chrono package.

The model will feature a 3.4-liter flat-six engine which would be capable of generating 315 HP (232 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a seven-speed PDK transmission which would help the model to accelerate to 100 kmph in just five seconds.

Since it is a limited edition, the company has plans to produce just seven units and it would come with a price tag of €119,935 (including VAT and BPM). The buyers will also receive free goodies such as a car cover, a bespoke leather key case and a coffee table book that highlights the car’s construction.

The people at Netherlands would feel very privileged and proud to own such a limited edition of one of the well known car brands, Porsche, under their belt.
