Renault introduces the business-oriented Twizy Cargo

Renault has recently introduced the new Twizy Cargo which has been made with the intention to serve the business owners.

The Twizy Cargo features a revamped interior which sees the rear seat jettisoned to increase cargo capacity. The 180 liters (6.3 cubic feet) of space can be accessed by a new rear door that is completely watertight and opens 90 degrees.

The Twizy Cargo 45 LIFE MA L6e comes fitted with a 5 HP (4 kW) electric motor that enables the model to hit a limited top speed of 45 kmph (28 mph). Moving up to the LIFE MB L7e allows the electric motor to generate 17 HP (12 kW) and comes with an electronically-limited top speed of 80 kmph (50 mph). Regardless of which model is selected, both are expected to have a real world range of 50-80 km (31-50 miles).

The pricing starts at € 6,750 excluding VAT and battery rental fees in France.
