The French automaker, Renault, has officially introduced to the public a special edition of its Captur Pure vehicle model. The car has been introduced in France, the home country of the aforementioned automaker. Being a special edition, this car is going to have a higher power under its hood when compared to its standard variant counterpart.
Speaking of the Renault Captur Pure in its standard version, the car has always been offered with a 1.5L dCi 90 engine. However, today, Renault has decided to also offer interested customers with a dCi 110 engine. As can be expected, the latter is supposed to deliver no less than 110 hp of power and 260 Nm of torque. This means that the special edition receives an increase of 20 hp and 40 Nm in terms of power and torque when compared to the regular edition. In addition to that, the special edition uses an engine that complies with the Euro 6 emission standards and the engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.03 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 175 km/h.
The special edition Captur Pure from Renault can also be recognized by the unique housing for its side mirrors, smoke grey and dark charcoal leather upholstery, bespoke decals on the roof, the special so-called Cassiopee Gray paint job that is mated to the Etoile Black finish for the roof of the vehicle, carpet mats, numbered Pure badging on the door sills and, of course, the Pure emblem. The car also has the Techno Pack available, which consists of a reverse camera and an onboard R-Link vehicle infotainment system.
The special edition Renault Captur Pure will reportedly come with an asking price that starts from 25,100 Euros. Yet, for customers that choose the dCi 90 with EDC transmission, they will have to pay slightly more, 25,300 Euros. Alternatively, for customers purchasing the TCe 120 EDC variant, they will have to pay no more than 23,800 Euros.
