Rendered: The all new Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS

by Alex

The period between 1959 and 1965 was marked with production of the special edition Giulietta SS by Alfa Romeo. The Giulietta SS was a 2-door sports coupe model. The coupé was powered by a 91 HP inline-four engines. The Alfa Romeo during its life time until now has only produced 2,766 units. However, now that the company has brought back the Giulietta name, it is believed by experts that the Sprint Speciale version i.e. the popular SS version will follow and thereby adding to the number of units created for the special edition.

The anticipations floating around among the automobile world that the SS would be a perfect fit to feature a smooth, two doors Gran Turismo body. The Gran Turismo body is known to be designed by Bertone. In fact it would be a small 8C Competizione.

The customer buying a Giulietta may choose from two gas burning engines. The first is the 1.4TB generating over 120 HP whereas the second 1.4TB Multi-Air grinds out a total of 170 HP. The car would also feature two alternatively fueled diesel engines, the 1.6 JTDM engine making over 105 HP levels and the 2.0 JTDM engine pumping out 170 HP. However car experts are looking forward to see the SS version to probably feature at least 250 HP with a featured sportier appearance.
