Rendering of the Next Generation Audi RS Q7 Emerges Online

by SpeedLux

Not so long ago, the luxury German automotive brand, Audi, unveiled a facelift version of its Q7. Well, it does not take long before rendering of the 2015 Audi RS Q7 emerges online. The X-Tomi Design has come up with an idea of how the next Q7 may look like in the future, if only the German company will officially put the RS emblem on it. In terms of the RS Q7, this model has been a hot debate all over the internet for years.

Unfortunately, there is little evidence that points to a possibility of Audi actually putting the RS moniker on the Q7 SUV. Yet again, if only that would become a reality, the likes of the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG and the BMW X5 M might well have a run for their money.

In order to clearly distinguish the RS from the standard version of the Q7, the X-Tomi Design applies a whole new body kit. This body kit involves new front and rear visuals that make the car more aggressive in look. In addition to that, there are also going to be new sports wheels, flared wheel arches, twin oval exhaust pipes, small roof spoiler, extended side skirts and even new badges as well.

For comparison, the official facelift version of the Audi Q7 comes with a substantial diet for the most parts. Thanks to the new diet, the Q7 facelift weighs 325 kg lighter than the predecessor of the model. Such a light weight is also achieved, thanks to the use of an entirely new chassis as well as multi-material body. The Audi Q7 facelift is even narrower and shorter than its predecessor, reducing its weight even further. The variant of the model that comes with a 3.0L diesel engine has a total weight of only 1,995 kg.
