Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe by Pininfarina

by SpeedLux

We recently got to see couple of photos of a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe which is styled by Pininfarina. The pictures were taken by a forum member of Luxury4Play.

From the pictures we have to say that the redesigned Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is really badly styled and is not anywhere near being attractive or appealing. Apart from some key features such as wheels, Pininfarina logo and paint scheme, there is very little to like about this styled car.

The person who took the pictures says that it is a one-off designed by Pininfarina and the cost of this vehicle is no less than USD 2.3 million. The styling given to this car is an unpleasant surprise taking into account that Pininfarina has earlier styled the one-off Hyperion which was also based on the Drophead Coupe and looked a lot better.

Not much information or details are available about the car currently, but we can only hope that this wasn’t really made by Pininfarina as they are capable of doing things much better than what they have done to this. Their capability is evident from the recent Ferrari 458 Spider-based Sergio Concept which shows that they are much better and much more capable than this.
