Rolls-Royce has recently released some new details about their upcoming Home of Rolls-Royce Collection. The collection is designed to celebrate ten years of manufacturing at Goodwood and so the Ghost and Phantom models will feature meticulous design, engineering and craftsmanship.
These cars will have a distinctive celebration motif on the dashboard that is constructed of dozens of individually cut wood veneers. Other highlights include a compass motif embroidered into the armrests and center console lid, engraved sill plates, a special umbrella and a unique bezel around the Spirit of Ecstasy and a hand-painted coachline that culminates in a half-compass design.
Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös was pretty excited and said that the Home of Rolls-Royce Collection would showcase why Goodwood is a unique center of manufacturing excellence.
