Someone has recently managed to snap quite a few images of the Drophead Coupe variant of the Rolls-Royce Wraith. This luxury sedan from the British automaker has been caught on camera wearing heavy camouflage. Judging by the spy images, the car seems to be undergoing some adverse weather condition testing.
The sedan from the luxury British automaker is reportedly scheduled for sale come mid-2016. The car looks familiar to its fixed roof counterpart, only with its rear fascia slightly redesigned and its fixed top being replaced with a soft, retractable top.
It is, unfortunately, true that the adjacent spy images you can see here do not reveal too much of the vehicle. However, as the luxury British marquee puts it, this upcoming convertible from Britain will feature ‘contemporary, graceful and sensuous styling’. In addition to that, the luxury car maker from the British soil also mentions that the car will offer open top, effortless driving, combined with modern elegance, style and luxury of the modern day Rolls-Royce, complete with exhilarating and engaging driving experience.
Unfortunately, even up to this point of time, the company is still not yet willing to reveal further details on the specifications that the vehicle is going to bear with it. Yet, some believe that the car will most likely come with a 6.6L V12 engine that spits out 624 bhp and 800 Nm of total power output and torque. Thanks to this very engine, the car should be able to reach the speed mark of 100 km/h from a complete standstill within only 4.6 seconds. This, unfortunately, makes the car a little slower when compared to its fixed roof counterpart.
