Several European nations have either ordered vehicle recalls by automakers over diesel emissions cheating or prepare to do so, German weekly Bild am Sonntag reported without mentioning sources.
The paper stated France had identified issues over Nissan’s Juke model along with the Renault Captur and Kadjar models. It also stated the Netherlands has ordered the recall of one Suzuki model while Italy is looking to impose a recall of the Fiat 500x.
Representatives of Fiat, Renault and Suzuki were not available for comment at the time and Nissan had no comments at the moment.
Last month, Germany’s Transport Ministry stated it would order the recall of about 100,000 Opel vehicles as part of an emissions probe.
