Skoda Superb Tour de France edition review

by SpeedLux

The Skoda Superb Tour De France edition is based on the Superb Outdoor and is build on the same specs that runs the existing models of the company.

It comes with load of equipment and one such is a top-of-the-range bike rack, making it perfect for those who love cycling.

The car will only be made available in four-wheel drive. It is said Skoda has mated the TdF model with the 138bhp 2.0 litre. It has six-speed manual gearbox too and in short can be mentioned as good as any other Superb.

Giving a tribute to the French flag, some badging could be found of the subtle Tour de France.

The car has 18-inch alloys, touchscreen sat-nav, xenons and DAB radio. The tyre pressure monitor, automatic wipers and heated front seats are few of the many additions or work-out features.

Price wise the Tour de France edition is tagged with around £1,500 more compared to the existing Superb Outdoor.

As a whole the vehicle is worth buying even though the waterproof seat covers look a bit cheap. Well, the car also comes with a clever internal racking system. It will surely attract the die-hard cycling fans.
