SLS AMG now on display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum (Video)

2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMGMercedes SLS AMG made its world debut last month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. AMG 6.3-liter V8 front-mid engine produces 571 hp.

Those of you who did not make it to the Frankfurt Motor Show can now see it on display at the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart until 16th of October.

Yesterday this modern day Gullwing was raised to the roof terrace(42 meters / 137.8 ft) of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Normally the roof terrace is not open to visitors.

The 465 square metre outdoor area can be accessed through Legend Room 1 on level 8. At a dizzy height one has a grandstand view of the surrounding vineyards and the Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant.

Backed up by a 7-speed double clutch transmission it accelerates from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.8 seconds, top speed is set at 317 km/h (197 mph).
