Techart GTStreet R based on the 911 Turbo packs 660 hp

by Ionut Dragomir

Techart’s GTStreet program has a new addition now dubbed GTStreet R, based on the new 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo.

Power on the 3.8-liter flat-six is increased from 500 hp all the way to 660 hp and 860 Nm of torque. In addition to more power engineers also added a new sport clutch and modified the transmission ratio of the standard 6-speed gearbox.

New aerodynamic kit includes a lowered front apron with carbon splitter, adjustable rear spoiler with air inlets, rear apron with integrated carbon diffuser and side skirts.

This ultimate 911 rides on Techart Formula 5-spoke light alloy wheels in sizes 19″ and 20″ wrapped with either Conti Sport Contact 3 or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus tires.

The Teechart nose-lift system allows the driver to raise the vehicle by up to 60 millimetres at the front axle, at the touch of a button, to avoid unpleasant contact with kerb edges or speed bumps.

Interior features new door and side panels, carbon fiber trim, aluminum pedals, custom-coloured decorative stitching on the centre console, bucket seats and illuminated entrance sills.
