by Alex Patrick

Techart Porsche Cayenne DieselTECHART, the German Porsche tuning company introduces performance and styling upgrades for Porsche Cayenne Diesel.

Specially developed for the Cayenne Diesel, Aerokit 1 includes a new front panel with a deeper front spoiler, new driving and fog lamps and additional cooling vents.

Aerokit 1 comes also with deeper sills, new rear apron with integrated diffuser, roof spoiler headlight and rear light surround trims, 21-inch alloys, twin double oval exhaust pipes, a three-spoke TECHART sports steering wheel, and interior trim upgrades that include light-weight aluminum pedals and footrest and leather edged luxury logo floor mats.

Further options include 22-inch body color wheelsm an Aero or Turbo-look bonnet, plus a vast range of interior options from individual trim components to sumptuous full leather interiors.

For cars fitted with air suspension, Aerokit 1 also includes a unique TECHART suspension control module that lowers the vehicle, reducing roll and further improving aerodynamics.

Cayenne Diesel is not what you would call a fast Porsche, so TECHART also offers a power boost on the 3.0-liter diesel engine from 240 hp to 290 hp. Torque is increased from 550 Nm to 630 Nm at 2,200 rpm.

0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) drops from 8.3 seconds to 7.7 seconds which is not bad for a big diesel SUV.

Existing vehicles can be fitted with Aerokit 1 from £15,000 and with Powerkit TA 055/D1 from £2,500. Both packagers are also available individually.
