The Aston Martin One-77 to Make its First UK Appearance

Auto enthusiasts in UK are in for a treat. For the Aston Martin One-77 is all set to make its first public appearance in this right hand drive country where the supercar will join a host of other supercars in a run that has been planned with the intention of promoting the FIA GT1 round at the British circuit. The run has its starting point at London and ends in Silverstone.

As for the car, the Aston Martin One-77 is often pegged as the ultimate car that Aston Martin has ever built. And it’s not without reason for the car is powered by a massive 7.3-liter V12 engine that delivers a huge 700hp of peak power. This combined with a relatively low weight of about 1,500 kg translates to stupendous performance. In fact, the One-77 can reach speeds of 220 mph or 354 km/h and does the 0-60mph sprint in just about 3.5 seconds. The engine has its roots in the powertrain that is currently doing duty in the DB9, DBS and Vantage models.

Sporting a price tag of over GBP1.2 million, the One-77 happens to be the most sought after car Aston Martin claims it has built in a very long time. Those who have had the change to lay their eyes on this masterpiece of automobile art have been thoroughly impressed with its looks and believe it will merge seamlessly in a city landscape.

It is the race version of the DB9 that will represent Aston Martin in the championship that has been sanctioned by FIA. No wonder people are eagerly awaiting to have a look of the first production-ready Aston Martin One-77 of which only 77 examples will ever be made.
