The New Porsche 911 GT2 RS to Arrive Later This Month

This should come as a surprise to those who thought Porsche has nothing exciting up its sleeve this year. For the German carmaker has revealed that it is in the process of launching the 911 GT2 RS, which is a hardcore version of the most prolific car in their line up and one of the most powerful to be availed of in the market.

The new 911 GT2 RS has shed some of the flab of the standard model so that it is now lighter by 90 kgs. This combined with an engine rated at a massive 620 hp means this car mean business on the speed lane. The 0 to 100 comes up in just 3.2 sec while the 200 km/h is achieved in under 10 seconds. The car can reach speeds of 300 km/h well below 25 seconds and is rumored to have an impressive lap time of 7m 22s at the Nurburgring race track. The 911 GT2 RS is likely to be priced at 240,000 euros!
