Three dead, two injured after car pile-up on A1 near Wothorpe

Three people have died and two are seriously injured after a multi-car pile-up on the A1, near Wothorpe in the UK.

The three-vehicle crash took place just before 1 am on Sunday morning on the A1 northbound near Wothorpe.

Police said three men aged 34, 25, and 38 were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people were admitted to the hospital, where they remain with serious injuries.

For now, details of 3 vehicles have been released.

It comes after a fourth person was killed in a different vehicle crash on the same road in the morning.

Cambridge Police have urged people with information of the crash to contact them.
